Robert Crompton
Robert is the Executive Director of Mentre Corporation as well as Information City Australia, which invests in high technology start-up companies. Robert has been the principal Mentre workshop presenter over the past four years and works in collaboration with the Mentre training and coaching network.
One of the core founders of the network, Robert has been Executive Director of the State Government's Multimedia Victoria as well as a Director of Mayne Nickless, OptusCommunications and Channel E Ltd.
His earlier career includes investment analysis and funds management / merchant banking with Westpac and Citinational, strategy and new business development roles with a number of Australian-based mutinationational firms, and strategic consulting.
Bernadette Crompton
Bernadette is Program Director for the Mentre workshop and coaching series, as well as Director of Perspective Solutions which she founded in 2000 to provide business coaching, mentoring and consultancy services. An experienced professional with a twenty year background in consulting, corporate management, government and also small business ownership, Bernadette is able to meet the demands of multiple agendas using a portfolio approach to work concurrently with non-conflicting clients.
In addition to running coaching and mentoring programs in conjunction with training workshops and university courses, Bernadette has provided coaching and mentoring services to:
- start-up entrepreneurs in business case, commercialisation and market entry phases
- small to medium enterprise owners wanting to grow their businesses and optimise resources
-executives in large organisations charged with achieving the company’s strategic imperatives and seeking to enhance their leadership, management and personal abilities
-persons seeking goal clarification and contemplating career change
Bernadette has worked within a variety of industries throughout her career including financial services, education, energy, government, health, information technology, telecommunications, transport, retail, manufacturing, food and beverage and professional services sectors.
