INFORMATION CITY MENTRE CAPABILITY PROGRAM
Recent studies have shown that a high proportion of start-up enterprises fail due to poor managerial skills and insufficient understanding of the marketplace.
The Mentre - Commercialisation & Growth Program address these challenges by providing small-to-medium enterprises with results driven workshops covering everything from identifying new business opportunities to achieving successful overseas expansion.
The workshops provide practical, hands-on treatment of issues facing start-ups on a daily basis, resulting in a clear plan of action designed to achieve specific outcomes. Workshops are presented by a team of highly skilled trainers and entrepreneurs introducing participants to the latest thinking on how best to grow their business.

Course Offerings:
Three workshops are available under the Mentre - Commercialisation & Growth Program including:
- Commercialisation Program: Course content begins with identifying and assessing business opportunities through to gaining insight into how to protect the value of these opportunities and how to find and secure initial stakeholders. Other course segments will look at business plan development; preparation of financial scenarios and learning how to present the business opportunity before external stakeholders.
- Market Entry Program: This course will help identify, segment and evaluate markets in terms of risks and rewards; analyse and cost route to market segments and develop options and identify profitable targets. Other course segments will create entry strategies; assign resources, funding and milestones and identify contingencies and fall back positions.
- Global Growth Program: This course will establish the strategic imperative for offshore expansion, providing insight into how to choose the right overseas market for your business; provide options for offshore expansion; planning tactics and give insight into the presentation of the expansion plan.
